The metal components of metal detectable PTFE tabes can be detected by-ray and metal detectors on food packaging lines that detect foreign contamination.

Our highly-engineered enhanced surfaces outperform traditional PTFE coated fabric construction and finishes, providing more consistent, long lasting, reliable performance. This performance translates to a higher level of product quality with regard to browning, shape and finish of formed proteins, as well as reduced potential burning of heavily marinated proteins.
Tortilla and Flatbread Production
The demands of dough pressing includes a reliably non-stick surface, resistance to oil permeation, optimal heat transfer, puncture and abrasion resistance, and a robust dimension stability to withstand repetitive contact with press platens. The extent of each of the needs depend upon the heartiness of the dough being processed, as desired quality of the finished product, as well as the production throughput goals of the operator.
