A high quality TeflonĀ® (PTFE) .003 " (75 MICRON)Ā thickness coated glass fabric with a silicone adhesive. The non-stick PTFE backing resists salts, acids, and solvents. The tape can operate at temperatures up to 260Ā°C (500Ā°F) and possesses high mechanical strength due to the glass fabric reinforcement. It is recommended for all specialist applications (e.g. masking, protecting) which require exceptional heat or chemical resistance. The Tape provides a non-stick surface for many applications (e.g. release surface on heat sealing/plastic welding equipment).
