A high-quality PTFE (Teflon) .005" (120 MICRON) thickness coated glass fabric with a silicone adhesive. The non-stick PTFE (Teflon) backing resists salts, acids, and solvents. The tape can operate at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) and possesses high mechanical strength due to the glass fabric reinforcement. Suitability for specialist masking and protective applications depends on the operating conditions and the selected grade. The tape provides a non-stick surface for many applications (e.g. release surface on heat sealing/plastic welding equipment).
